State-owned houses in HCMC to be sold by the end of 2010

The People’s Committee of HCMC has recently directed the local council in charge of selling houses to coordinate with the Department of Construction, district people’s committees and other relevant agencies to sell state-owned houses to people currently renting.

In accordance with Decree 61/CP by the Government, qualified houses of this kind will be sold until the end of 2010. Selling results will be reported regularly to the People’s Committee.

New bridge and conjunction to be built for HCMC


The People’s Committee has recently directed relevant agencies on inviting bids for the design package for the projects to build the Rach Chiec bridge and a junction in front of the main gate of the National University HCMC.

Accordingly, the Department of Transport is assigned to consider and approve the bidding plan and direct the investor to follow necessary procedures.
